Now Accepting Insurance!

Families with participating Blue Cross Blue Shield, BCBS Anthem, Cigna and United PPO's may qualify for lactation consultations in their home, my office or virtually at no out-of-pocket cost. Home visits will incur a travel and set up fee that is not covered by insurance. If your insurance is not accepted as in-network by Lactation Network, a Superbill will be provided for you to submit to your insurance for full or partial reimbursement based on your plan. If you are a Tricare or Medicaid subscriber, please contact Amy for special rates and booking for in-office or virutal services only. If there is not a time available on the booking calendar that works for you, please contact Amy to see if accommodations may be made for you and your baby. Amy may be reached via email at amy@communitylactation.com or text at 904-321-9089.

Virtual Consultations

Out of Network:
Initial Visit $145, up to 90 min.

Community Lactation and Parenting offers virtual consultations as a way for breastfeeding families to get expert clinical support and information in the comfort of their own homes. A comprehensive history of your pregnancy, birth and feeding history will be collected prior to our appointment. Assessment of positioning and latch will be performed via video. (You will submit a few photos and videos of your baby prior to our visit.)  We will work together to develop a care plan based on your feeding goals. A detailed report will be sent to the physicians involved in the care of breastfeeding parent and baby and a superbill will be provided to self-pay clients for submission to insurance for potential reimbursement.

These relaxed consultations allow for skilled, hands-on help in the privacy and comfort of your own home.  They usually last about 2 hours and include a detailed history of your pregnancy, birth and feeding experience, including breast exam, infant oral and anatomical examination, comprehensive feeding assessment, a personalized care plan centered on your feeding goals, communication with your health care providers and an insurance superbill for self-pay clients to submit to insurance for reimbursement.  Two weeks of secure messaging follow-up included. Weekly Baby Weigh Community Drop-In

This service is for previously established clients and done in office on Wednesday ONLY.  This is an easy way for clients to drop in and get a quick weight for baby and ask simple questions without scheduling a full consultation. You'll have the opportunity to weigh your baby and get your "quick" questions answered with  evidence-based, empathic support. This is NOT a comprehensive consultation, but a brief weight check opportunity. If you would like a longer, more detailed visit, please consider scheduling a full follow-up visit.

Private Parenting Support Sessions

Parenting is HARD. Sometimes we need a non-judgmental place to help process behavior patterns in our children and discover our personal triggers.  Listening actively and reflecting in a confidential environment often empowers parents to deeply examine the emotional and developmental needs of their children.  We will discuss strategies unique to your situation and create a parenting action plan.  If beneficial to your family, a referral to a counseling professional knowledgable in attachment theory will be made.
